Biogas Purification with Pressure Swing Adsorption

For the methane production from biogas a special 6 adsorber process was developed by us.
With this unique process it is possible to reduce the CO2-content even down to ppm range at a low energy consumption. The ETW SmartCycle© uses this development.
For methane production from landfill gas a two step system is used.
First step is the CO2 removal VPSA,
second step the NRU (Nitrogen Removal Unit) a process is used,
wich was originally developed by us for the separation of nitrogen from cabonmonoxid.
This process was adapted to the similar task of separating nitrogen from Methane.
